Assignment of Rights

By submitting photographic images to Zara Mohammed to commission custom art, or by offering Zara Mohammed permission to use photographic images for the creation of art work for Opulent Mutts, you grant a perpetual, royalty-free license for Zara Mohammed to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to the art work created from those photographic images at her sole discretion, including incorporating them in other works in any media now known or later developed including, without limitation, published books.

You also warrant you own all rights to the photos, and you will indemnify and hold Zara Mohammed, Opulent Mutts and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all loss, damage, costs and other expense arising out of claims, whatever their nature, resulting directly or indirectly from breach of this warranty.

All dog art created, including but not limited to custom art commissions, may be made available for purchase in various forms to the general public unless specified in writing by the client before payment of services.*

Please respect the artist's copyrights and refrain from editing or altering artwork as it has been published or printed by the artist. This includes the removal of text and website details on drawings. All copyrights of artworks remain with Zara Mohammed indefinitely.

Zara Mohammed also reserves the right to select, edit and arrange artwork produced, and to remove images from the Opulent Mutts website and social platforms at any time at her sole discretion.

If you do not wish to grant Zara Mohammed these rights please put your requests in writing before paying for services.

* To address a common concern, your commissioned custom drawings are unlikely to be made available to the general public to purchase as prints or greeting cards. In the event that I feel a drawing is rather special and may have universal appeal, or work well with a collection of my drawings that I would like to make available to purchase as prints or greeting cards for example, you will be contacted to be made aware of this.

Your drawings are more likely to be published as part of a potential future book celebrating a collection of my work, or in a magazine article if my work happens to become more well known. These are just potential scenarios though, and I have nothing planned at present. In any case I would try to contact you if your drawings are being used, and I would very much appreciate your support. Please be aware though, that your drawings will be published on my social platforms (Facebook, Instagram etc.) to help promote, share and celebrate my work, therefore if you have purchased your drawings as a gift and require discretion, please let me know, as I would hate to spoil a surprise.

Returns & Refunds

I am afraid due to the nature of my work I cannot offer refunds or accept returns on any original piece of art, or prints. If you are unhappy with your order please still get in touch as I may offer a discount on a replacement piece.

If your parcel has been damaged or lost in the post it may be covered, please contact me to find out what I do to help.
